Backwords is a word puzzle solved in reverse. You're given the colors of a finished game β but none of the letters. Fill in a valid word on every row so that the coloring works out.
Every row is scored against your bottom row β the "hidden" answer. Since you choose that word too, puzzles can have many solutions. Yours just has to be self-consistent.
Row marks: β word fits Β· ~ real word, colors don't match Β· Γ not a word.
When a row's colors don't work out, the offending tiles get a small corner dot showing what that letter is actually scoring (the tile background is what it needs to be). E.g. a yellow tile with a grey dot: that letter isn't in your final word at all.
Tap a tile or use arrow keys to move. Type on your keyboard or the one below. Match every row to win.
You found a valid solution.
This shows the final word from one known solution to this puzzle β so you can work the rest out backwards. Sure?
Other final words may also work β colors only need to be consistent with your bottom row.
